Hello, my name is Brandon. I was trying to write this eulogy, and there are so many ways to describe Jayden that it was hard to pick just a few. He was kind and sweet, and he was always great to be around. Jayden was also one of the funniest people in my life. He always had a hilarious joke to tell. It seemed as though you were constantly smiling when you were around Jayden. I smiled so much that my face would begin to hurt on more than one occasion. Jayden was the type of person that had no filter. I’ll never forget the time that he was telling a somewhat tasteless joke about an overweight person when an overweight person walked behind us. He promptly turned around and said “no offense.” He would make you shake your head when he did things like that, but he was still always fun to be around. There is nothing fun about being at a funeral though. Except, according to those adorable young children, there is one really cool thing that Jayden gets today. As I was walking by, I heard one of them ask their father, I’m assuming you’re their father, what happens when you die. The father went on to say that people go to heaven, and that Jayden was going to go heaven. His brother, interrupted him in the middle of the explanation, to tell him that when people die they get to ride in the cool limousine sitting out front. I almost died laughing. I know, that was a horrible pun. Only almost though, I don’t think it’s my time to ride in the limo just yet. It is Jayden’s turn to go on that limo ride though. He would love it. Jayden always loved attention. He loved to live life as large as he possibly could. So while he’s taking his limo ride, let us all remember that he was an amazing person, full of life and laughter, and be grateful that he gets to go on one last limo ride. Jayden, his sense of humor and his grand personality will always be gone, but
they will never be forgotten. He will forever be remembered by all of us. May
his soul rest in peace.
